I’m Kylee — the heart behind Love & Lustre. I’m a photographer who chases light and the tender moments it reveals, but I’m also a person who loves a slow, quiet morning. Most days start with coffee in the dark before my kids wake up, when the world feels still and I can breathe before the day begins. Music is my therapy, and honestly, the heavier the better. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me with my husband and two kids. I love fantasy books, playing D&D, and getting on the softball field.
I’m an extroverted introvert to my core. I love people, but I also love solitude to recharge. I’m warm, observant, playful, and I joke a lot — usually with the mouth of a sailor. I notice everything: the way a parent instinctively reaches for their child, the way light wraps around a room, the tiny in‑between moments that most people miss. That sensitivity is the heartbeat of my work.
Photography has been with me for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I photographed everything — my mom’s flowers, my friends, anything that caught the light just right. As I grew older, went through nursing school, and became a mother, something clicked. I realized how powerful it is to document women finding strength in themselves, couples beginning their lives together, families growing and changing. I love being a quiet observer — a fly on the wall — watching real moments unfold. Candid connection is where the magic lives for me.
When you work with me, I want you to feel prepared long before your session begins. I want every question answered, every worry eased, so you can walk in without stress or pressure. I want your kids to feel comfortable, your partner to feel relaxed, and you to feel seen. My goal is to create an unhurried space where you can simply be yourselves while I document the beauty already happening.

Do you have a studio?
Yes! I’m located at 205 N Main Street in Butler at Sacred Studios. I share this space with Blush by Justice, Hair by Rachel, and Serenity Massage. It’s truly a one-stop shop for self-care and we have package discounts for clients looking to book multiple services.
Do you travel?
Of course! I am based out of Butler, Missouri and my contract covers travel within a 30 mile radius. Anything outside of that radius is subject to a small fee.
Pricing differs for out-of-state sessions/weddings
I want to book a family session but I’m worried that my kids wouldn’t cooperate.
As a mom, I. HEAR. YOU. As a photographer, pleaaaase don’t stress it. My sessions are incredibly laid back and go-with-the-flow. I am focused on the in-between, candid moments. We will do a lot of playing, snuggling, tickling, whatever it is to get those genuine smiles.
I have no idea what to wear for my sessions… Can you help!?
Absolutely! Not only do I have a client closet of dresses for mom and outfits for baby, but I also utilize a styling service that will help you to build outfits for your entire family based on the “vibe” you’re wanting. You can even shop from the site, so it makes it so easy!
